The short version: we don't collect anything. There's no account to make, no analytics in the apps, and nothing leaves your device.
What we collect
Nothing. restinggrumpyface apps, including yaAnnotator, have no accounts, no sign-in, and no telemetry. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or analytics of any kind.
Your data stays on your Mac
yaAnnotator is a sandboxed, document-based Mac app. Your images are referenced in place through security-scoped bookmarks — they are never copied into the app's container and never uploaded anywhere. Model-assisted features run entirely on-device. Pull your Mac off the network and every feature still works.
This website
This site is static and serves no advertising. It sets no tracking cookies. The only data it stores is a single theme preference (light or dark) kept locally in your browser, which never leaves your device.
Third parties
We don't share data with third parties because we don't have any of your data to share. Outbound links — such as our GitHub — are governed by their own privacy policies.
